I prefer a restaurant where the kitchen is visible to patrons. Keegan's Grill in Chandler also rates highly in that it is clean and the service has consistently been superb. The drinks (surprisingly reasonably priced) are refreshing (the margarita and strawberry beer especially worth consideration) and the food has elevated Keegan's into a 'top contender' for consideration as one of the best places to eat in the East Valley. Consistency is a key ingredient in delivering great quality food. Each time I visit Keegan's I'm impressed that my food arrives fresh, hot, and spiced correctly with above average portion sizes. The "specials" are comfort food for the soul. At my last visit, I splurged on the King Crab Legs. I was so impressed, that I was inspired to write this review. On this night, Keegan's crab was even superior to renown restaurants in San Francisco that are famous for mouth watering seafood. I've been lucky in that when I visit Keegan's, a table becomes available rather quickly. I'm afraid that my wait will grow as the food becomes better and better. So, do your palate and your belly a favor - grab your favorite bib (or wear a shirt that won't mind a few food stains, after all, what's a good meal if you don't get some on you) and head over to Keegan's Grill. You won't be disappointed.
The worst dining experience I have ever had. The only reason why I gave them one star is because of how nice the waitress was. We ordered 2 filets, med rare. They came out charred on the outside and raw on the inside. It came back same problem then naturally it came back med well. I ate mine but they decided to give my husband a new one. The manager came over, just talked at us as she kept waving her hand literally an inch over my food. The bill came then we were charged for 3 steaks! We couldnt believe it. Then a new manager got involved, took off the 3rd steak. We werent looking at all for a discount but there was none given, no dessert, no common sense customer service. The waitress was so embarrassed. We just wanted to pay our bill and get out of there. I only wish I could have taken a picture of the steak so the owner or quality control could see it. The manager blaming us for not knowing what med rare is was just insulting. I wasnt asking for Flemings quality but at least Sizzler would have been appreciated.
Nice menu and beer selection. Good varied lunch and dinner specials. Comfortable seating and interesting decor, booths give nice feeling of privacy but not closed off. Friendly fast service.
Amazing food, great casual atmosphere and top notch booze selection! Server was so nice! One thing if your from outta town, the water tastes odd.
First time having food at this restaurant with my friend and the food is amazing. Loved the ambience and the friendly staff. I ordered the steak with cheese potatoes and veggies wow super. The steak was well done and the taste was really good. Loved the cheese potatoes, they are bomb. You have to try this dish. My friend ordered the roasted rosemary chicken which was good too. Very tender. All the sides were good too. Really liked the black bean salad. There was not much of wait time. Definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone who loves good food.Love supporting local business.
