This is not a up-scale or high-end restaurant at all but a noisy sports watching bar . I went to this restaurant with my family (wife, daughter, son) to have a quite dinner but people are watching game and screaming all around. The food quality does not match with the name of high-end restaurant or price ($175+$26 tips!) for one main course-7 ounce fish for each, one-shared starter and desert ). Only the starter (Bang Bang Shrimp..) and the desert were reasonably good. I will not recommend this restaurant for casual and quite family dinner.
This is a fun place to grab a nice dinner - romantic or with a group of friends. They have tall booths for privacy or longer tables to accommodate groups or tables for 2.This place is clean and modern.The food was good. I liked that some of their sides were more like appetizers, so you could order something interesting with your meal - fried pickles or tempura green beans!!!Our waiter wasn't that attentive, but there was a fella expediting food and checking on everyone that was so amazing. I'd definitely go back.They also have a room on the side that you can reserve for large parties.
I want to give a higher review but with a name like chop I had hoped to see some more creativity with their meats and burgers. Pork belly or brisket to go with some fresh chuck would take it to the next level. Front of the house staff are really great.
I went here twice within the last week with my father and really love this restaurant. My food was excellent both times and my martinis were even better. The blonde bartender is great, he can really shake a martini; keep it up. I love the dark atmosphere and come dinner they have a full house, reservations are a good idea. I will definitely be back my next time in Arizona to enjoy more at Chop. Check out their Sunday special, 2 burgers and a featured bottle of wine for $30, great deal!
Was anticipating an amazing restaurant with excellent food/ ambiance/ service... was served by 4 different ppl when I was served otherwise not sure where the waitresses disappeared to. This was the first time Id taken my son to a nicer restaurant since he was in the mood for a good steak and at 9 years old he said hell never go back due to the poor service.Sorry guys get it together especially on a night where youre not busy. There are plenty of other places Ill gladly drop $150.
