Well, I applied along with my spouse to rent a home for $1250 a month. My wife lost her job in December on account of being pregnant and sick, so some consumer credit accounts of hers fell to arrears. Revelation is happy to process us as separate applicants and collect their fee, but to deny us in whole without the courtesy of telling me as the primary applicant. I called them on a Friday, left a voicemail - nothing. Texted with another employee later in the afternoon, they dropped off. Was emailed about more information the next Monday - they dropped off too.By Tuesday, my spouse received notice she was denied, which I imagine must be on account of her consumer credit. After wondering what the hell was going on with my application, we asked - and yep, I was denied too.My lease is up - putting a roof over my family's head is important. It warrants a little sense of urgency given I'm a paid applicant.Listen - I've held my job for over 11 years, I don't want to rent - but, certainly not from a company that can't be bothered with the courtesy of messaging me directly or returning a call as to the reason for my denial. So if you, as a landlord, don't want someone who has never paid rent late in the 17 years of rental history, works for the largest company in Chandler, or who makes 5x the rent - I guess this place will weed out nary-do-wells like us just fine.I will never do business with this company, avoid like the plague. No communication, leaves you hanging, doesn't care they are in the business of homes evidently.
This review is for Erika Figueroa who is a part of KP Elite which is under Revelation Real Estate.Erika Figueroa is a friendly and outgoing individual but lacks real estate experience. Before hiring her I tried to find reviews on her but after finding no history of her anywhere I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. As a first time home buyer, I found it odd to be able to identify her lack of experience through the entire process. It was obvious she was focused on closing the deal, thus I felt that 80% of the time she was working for the seller. The other 20% was me trying to convince her that what I wanted or requested was reasonable. At the end of the process after signing and having utilities under my name, I didnt realize I wasnt supposed to visit the property, and went to check out my new home. Long story short, she called me yelling and threatening me that I was going to be charged with trespassing charges and the cops were coming for me. I found it very unprofessional and very disappointing to be treated in that manner. However, I assume full responsibility of this treatment due to a lack of knowledge on my behalf. Unfortunately, I never received a call from her for a simply apology. Her broker did call me to ensure the sale was still going to take place. Regardless, if you are going to work with Erika, make sure you are comfortable with the purchasing process and also comfortable going though a million barriers to get what you want.
Very disappointed in this property management group. Communication was EXTREMELY poor. No immediate contact and most of the time through email! Reports were difficult to figure out. Company turnover of responsibility seemed high. While checkout was supposed to be a priority, the person did not notice a dog(not allowed) had chewed the corners of the plantation shuttersnot hidden by vase, etc. Sloppy and inept are only a couple adjectives I could use.
I have been contacted by one of their agents (Caroline Wood) more than once because of a "Wrong Number". Small details are important when buying a house. If you can't get your customer's information correct, what else are you screwing up on?
