Hotel is in perfect location, right in downtown Chandler. Walking distance from a lot of nice places. Hotel itself is dated with some updates. First room smelled like smoke, second room was okay. Not high end but nice. Would stay again.
Stayed one night so we could attend the Octoberfest. Hotel was kind enough to have room rate specials for those going to the fest. Our room was clean and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay in Chandler. On our drive home my husband and I talked about how every person we dealt with while in Chandler were helpful, kind and friendly.
Great hotel with all kinds of rich history! The restaurants inside are all delightful. We had our wedding there and I couldnt have been happier. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I loved the grand staircase leading upstairs. The decor is light and refreshing. Special place. Cant wait to go back and visit. Made many special memories!
Run down and dirty. I have to wonder if all the 5-star reviews are fake. I could almost overlook the crumbling buildings, but there is really no excuse for the dirt and cobwebs everywhere. This place needs a good power washing and repaint at the very least. Told the person I stayed with it feels like they are milking the last few dollars they can out of this place before they are going to demolish it and rebuild. Holes in wall in room. Food in the chair cushion. Everything in the room was worn out, chipped, patched up. Elevator was disgusting.
I had a poor experience at this hotel and my review will be skewed in that direction. I was given a hotel room with broken AC which I late4 realized after a poor nights' sleep and returning after a long workday to a 80 degree room. I was quikly switched to another room. The next morning I was woken up at 7am by a tree trimming crew right outside my window. The property claims to be a resort and willingly charges you for it but is yet to be seen. It's basically in a parking lot with all the rooms being publically accessible. Location is ideal in the heart of Chandler. However I will not be staying at the hotel again. With some conversation I was lightly compensated for my troubles but definitely had to ask for it. It's too soon to tell if management followed through what they promised me at checkout.
