I have shopped at Sears for over thirty years, mostly for tools and appliances, but I've bought the odd lawn mower, fan, battery, and water filter, too. Sears has a wide range of items, from the inexpensive to last-for-twenty-years fixtures and appliances. I have always been satisfied by Sears, which is why I continue to shop there. I'm going there as soon as I finish this, in fact, for an automotive tool. I've been a shade-tree mechanic since I was 18, and my toolbox is stuffed with Craftsman tools. I have some of the first Craftsman tools I bought to work on my brand-new 1974 Duster, and I still use them--around the house, on my cars, on neighbors' cars. For the home DIYer, Sears is an excellent choice. For just about anything else, Sears is an excellent choice.
My wife and I purchased our first set of washer and dryer here in 2009. We received a good deal on quality machines. We went back and worked with John this past week on buying a couple new washer and dryer sets for our kids and sisters. John and the manager were delightful to deal with and gave us a really good deal on multiple machines!
